GURBANI TOP GIRL IN THE EVIAN MASTERS JUNIORS CUP Gurbani won the best girls prize in the Evian Masters Junior Cup 2010 played on 17th & 18th July 2010. Her two round total of 143 (69 +74) 1 under par placed her at the top of girls section. She finished over-all on the 3rd position combined with the boys. Her first place finish amongst the girls entitles her to play in the official Rolex Pro-Am on Wednesday 21st July '10 prior to the Evian Masters. A total of fifteen countries were invited to send their junior teams for the prestigious event. Team comprised of two boys and two girls. Each day best three scores were to count for the team score. At the end first days play Gurbani who shot a 3 under par helped India to be on tied 5th position. Both Aditi and Subhankar had 79 each. On the second and final day Gurbani shot a 74. She holed a birdie putt on the last hole to pip Casie for the best girls prize by one stroke. Other team members could not perform to their expected level and India could manage a seventh position after the final round. While Subhankar had a 77, Honey could manage an 81. TEAM SCORES on TOTAL
