PG Programme in Golf Management in India

Mumbai, July 08, 2010: International School of Corporate Management (ISCOM) has partnered with the prestigious Elmwood College, Scotland to introduce the first-ever Post Graduate Programme in Golf Management in India.

"Golf, as a sport is one of the fastest emerging sectors in India, with an estimated growth of 30 per cent in the next five years but there is a huge gap for good quality management professionals to join the golfing industry in India," Prof Keshav Rae, Director, ISCOM said on Thursday.

"To bridge this gap in the management genre, ISCOM has partnered with Elmwood College to introduce the PG Programme in Golf Management," Rae said.

Rae added that this course will equip candidates to effectively manage a complete Golf and Country Club type operation.

"The course includes six months of intensive apprenticeship at a golf facility in Scotland, and a comprehensive course focusing on every aspect of the industry," he said.
