Jason Day Leads Banner Weekend for TaylorMade-adidas Golf, Wins HP Byron Nelson Championship Playing Burner SuperFast TP Driver

Penta TP wins twice worldwide as Simon Khan Captures European Tour’s BMW PGA Championship

Story: TaylorMade-adidas Tour Staff professional Jason Day, one of the first players to put the Burner SuperFast TP driver in his bag, notched his first career PGA Tour win at the HP Byron Nelson Championship on Sunday. Day, 22, earned his breakthrough victory playing the Burner SuperFast TP driver, TP wedges with xFT and the Penta TP golf ball. Five of the top six finishers at the HP Byron Nelson Championship used TaylorMade drivers.

In England, Simon Khan fired a 5-under par 66 to complete the biggest come-from-behind victory in the history of the BMW PGA Championship – the European Tour's flagship event. Khan, who accepted a sponsor’s invitation on Monday, played the Penta TP golf ball en route to his second career European tour victory.

Additionally, TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour Staff professionals Brian Gay and Blake Adams tied for second at the HP Byron Nelson Championship. Adams, who finished tied for ninth in putts per round, played the Rossa Corza Ghost throughout an impressive week that included a second-round 64.

Quotes:

Jason Day
"Hopefully I can take those experiences that I had today and put it into future rounds, if I'm in the hunt. I'm still young and I'm just happy that I won my first tournament, and hopefully this is the first of many.”
“I just want to keep working hard and improving every day and every week.”

Blake Adams
“The biggest key this week has been putting. My old trusty putter I had back on the Nationwide Tour and all that, my first event in Hawaii, the Wednesday Pro-Am first hole, my bag fell off the cart and broke my putter, another hiccup in my journey here. But I'm on about putter 12, and I actually have a brand new putter in the bag. It's a TaylorMade Ghost and it's doing great.”

Simon Khan
“This means everything. This tournament is the reason I started playing golf and just being here is special this year.”
"It's as much for the family as it is for me - it's unbelievable to be standing here right now.”
